Grief Peer Support

Queer Clinic is excited to be collaborating with The New Normal Charity to host monthly Queer Good Grief meetings.

These are free, inclusive and accessible online spaces for LGBTQIA+ people to come together and talk about grief, without censorship.

What to Expect?

  • The meeting host will open with a round of introductions, and then the invitation to share more deeply.

  • Once a topic of conversation is introduced, people in the group will be given the opportunity to respond and share their own experiences.

  • This is a non-judgemental space where you are invited to share openly and freely about how you are feeling, whilst remaining kind and conscious of others in the group.

  • You do not have to speak and you can leave at any time, however we ask that you join at the start time.

The space will always be run by queer facilitators, trained in peer support, with lived experience of grief.

Please note, facilitators are not trained therapists and do not offer advice. The power of the meeting is in connection with others with similar lived experience.

You can register for the meetings at our Events Pagen.
